If you ever struggled to figure out what to wear for a social outing, this app may be of interest to you. During a 2-day Hackathon organized by Amplitude I collaborated with five other data scientists, engineers, and designers to build an AI application that recommends and generates new outfits for any occasion. We received a $5000 cash prize from AWS for the work we did on this project!

My contribution to this project was a similarity based recommender model that retrieves images of garments from a product database based on text descriptions of styles received by the user.
